My name is Ilayda Altฤฑndaฤ, and I am a student at Ludwig Maximilian University, enrolled in the M.Sc. Psychology: Learning
Sciences Program. I graduated from Sabancฤฑ University Psychology Program and Erzurum Ataturk University Child Development Associate Degree Program in Turkey.
When I want to tell about my experiences, I took part in voluntary internships where I could make inferences about subjects related to educational psychology, such as teaching methods, teacher- student relationships, and affecting factors students’ and teachers’ motivation in education. As an intern at the Bodrum Health Foundation, I observed the protocols in the special education programs and therapies for children and adults with disabilities, including those with autism, Down syndrome, and Williams syndrome. During my internship at the Turkish Dyslexia Foundation, I provided one-on-one training to children diagnosed with dyslexia and ADHD while informing parents of the course’s progress.
