I´m an international Psychology student from Brazil, living in Bremen for over two years. I am fluent in Portuguese and English, and speak and understand good Spanish and German. I grew up with small siblings and helping around the house, and I have previously worked for two years tutoring small kids from 4-13 in an after school program in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I am very comfortable with and love working with children, as well as pets, and I am comfortable (and enjoy) doing household tasks and keeping an organized environment.
This year I worked for a month along the pediatric psychology services of the Ferreira Machado hospital, in Campos, Brazil. This experience helped me further develop empathetic communication skills tailored for small kids, as well as interactive activities with art, music, and reading. I am also comfortable teaching English, and have had experience with it in the tutoring program I mentioned previously.
I have a very flexible schedule, and I am availabe to stay overnight and housesit as well. I am comfortable with pets and light housework, and I am excited to engage with the local international community and hopefully also make some good friendships 🙂
