My name is Femke, I am 27 years old, from the Netherlands. I’m moving to Berlin (schöneberg) together with my fiancé on the 8th of July. I am a qualified teacher with three years of experience in education (mostly middle school). I am planning to take a break from teaching after moving to Berlin, to settle in and focus on becoming fluent in German (currently B2). In the meantime, I’m searching for a job to pay the bills. I love working with children, which is why I am looking for a job as a nanny/babysitter. Besides my experience in education, I have a lot of babysitting experience with children of various ages. When I was 14 years old, I started babysitting twins (8 months old) and a toddler. I have been that family’s babysitter ever since and am still in contact with the family now. I could give you the contact details of the family as a reference.
I will be available every day starting July 8th through to December. Except for one week when I’ll be on vacation (6-13 August). And two times when I’ll be going back to the Netherlands for a wedding (4th of august and 28+29 september).
I speak fluent Dutch and English. My German is currently at a B2 level but I am hoping to improve to C1 quickly.
