Hello, I’m from California, and I have been living here in Berlin for more than five years. During this time, and before in California, I have been babysitting children as young as 2 and a half years old and as old as fourteen. I do speak some German. My speaking level is A2 but my understanding of the language is around B1, and I am working on improving both. At the moment, I’m available for occasional evenings/late night/overnight care starting around 6pm, entertaining kids a while before putting them to bed so the parent(s) can have an evening out. Household tasks, such as light tidying, doing laundry, running errands, and cooking are something I can help out with. I’m also able to offer invoices and am open to formal employment. My rate starts at 15 euros an hour, and may increase depending on the number of children, the type of tasks (other than looking after the children) requested, and the frequency of care needed. My rate for payment via invoice will be slightly higher.
