My husband and I are originally from the small city of Warrnambool in Victoria, Australia, and we’ll be relocating to Cologne in early July. I’ve worked in Early Childhood Education and Care for over five years, primarily with children aged 0–5.
Over this time, I’ve held positions at the Honey Pot Child Care Centre in Warrnambool, Australia and Atelier Kids (a Reggio Emilia-inspired early learning centre) in Toronto, Canada, where I performed the roles of Room Leader and Indoor Planner of the 0-3 age group. In these positions, I was responsible for leading a team of educators, planning and implementing early learning programs, and ensuring high-quality care in a nurturing and engaging environment. I also supported professional development within the team by sharing knowledge and reflecting on best practices.
Both this domestic and international experience working within the industry has given me a broader perspective on early childhood education and helped me grow both professionally and personally. I am organised, nurturing and approachable and possess a deep passion for working with children and their families; all qualities that I believe make me a strong candidate to work as a nanny . Being Australian, English is my primary language – however, I’ve begun the process of learning German and am highly motivated to learn and immerse myself in the language and culture.
