Good morning,
My name is Wera Grande,
I worked with Amanda from September 2021 to January 2022.
When we hired Amanda, we knew it would be a short period of time, since she already had plans to move to Germany. When we met her in person, we loved it, and both my husband and I knew that she would be the perfect person for this job until we found someone for the long term. My husband and I both finished work late, so we wanted to hire someone who would become part of our family, since they would be sharing our Son’s day-to-day life.
Amanda is a serious person at work, very responsible and polite, with good communication. Regarding working with my son Hugo, it was a very gratifying experience, she is very patient, affectionate and innovative, she always came up with some activity in nature, or something more creative at home. We saw a very good change in Hugo in his psychomotor skills and independence, because Amanda took time in trying to improve his body language with her experience with theater, she also helped him strengthen his independence when it came to doing things and feeling more secure.
The daily tasks that she performed with us were more or less the same on a daily basis, since it was what we demanded. First at home, she would prepare a snack for Hugo, then she would pick him up from school and they would spend an hour or so playing in the park or take him to their respective after-school activity, then they would come home and she would help him do the homework that they had sent him in school, then Hugo played for a while while Amanda made him something to eat, and finally he helped him take a shower and read him bedtime stories.
I only have good words for our experience with Amanda, we highly recommend working with her.
