About Us
We are an Australian family living between Munich and Melbourne. Our daughter Holly has recently started Grade 11 in the IB Diploma Programme at Munich International School (MIS). She is a bright, independent, and motivated student who enjoys her friends, swimming, and exploring new opportunities. As parents, we travel frequently for work, and we are seeking a trusted live-in guardian to provide stability, academic oversight, and a supportive presence during the school year.

About the Role
This is a bespoke guardianship and mentoring role, not a traditional nanny position.
The successful candidate will:
– Provide structure, academic oversight, and encouragement for Holly.
– Monitor homework and study routines, ensuring accountability.
– Act as a liaison with school/teachers when required.
– Support healthy routines, including simple meal preparation.
– Serve as a role model and supportive adult presence.
– Holly is highly independent and does not require daily childcare. The focus is on mentorship, stability, and academic support.

– Commitment: While substantial time off is provided when parents are present, there may be periods when support is required up to 7 days per week (for example, during exam preparation or when parents are abroad).
Candidate Profile
– Female, aged 28+
– Responsible, trustworthy, and mature
– Pedagogically trained or with a strong background in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or youth guidance
– Mature, organised, with strong communication skills
– Warm, supportive, encouraging independence while ensuring boundaries
– Fluent in both English and German (essential)
