Hi everyone! My husband and I are musicians, tuba and violin, at the Komsiche Oper Berlin (opera house), so we are looking for a regular babysitter for the evenings and weekends. I am German-American, my husband is German and we are raising the kids bilingual, so we would be super excited to find a native English speaking nanny or babysitter. The job mainly will be evening bedtime routine and putting the kids to bed. Our kids, Ben and Lizzie are 2 and 4 and love music, dancing, books and drawing. We are looking for someone trustworthy and reliable who ideally will be with us long term, especially since evenings and bedtime are such a vulnerable time for kids we want someone they can trust and feel safe with. The hours will be around 40-50 hours per month, about 3 days a week but also varying depending on the opera schedule so we’re looking for someone who is fairly flexible and ok with a weekly changing schedule. Importantly, since we qualify for a babysitter through the government, the hiring process will go through the Berliner Jugendamt/Kolibri Berlin so we need someone who is willing to get certified through the Amt, but we are very willing to help you through the process step by step. We are just truly hoping to find someone who fits to our family and who is genuinely happy to spend time with our kids. The pay rate is 20,54€ per hour
