Dear Families,

I am a 55-year “young” :), warm and caring, experienced and qualified Finnish Nanny/ Governess/ Early Childhood Education Teacher/ Language Teacher, with fluent English and good command of German language. Having worked for good three years as a nanny/governess in UAE and KSA, I am currently looking for new work challenges globally.

The core of the Finnish early childhood education, the so-called “educare” model, a holistic, integrated approach to care, education, and teaching, is the solid basis of my nanny/governess identity.
I am a safe, empathetic, inspiring, and encouraging caregiver and educator. Neither the routines, nor the more challenging moments of taking care of children are a problem for me. I love being with children – it is living life to the full in a genuine way, with all its little joys and sorrows!

Active participation, learning through play, fun, curiosity, and exploration are important keywords for me. I am truly there for the child. Positive mindset, pedagogical tact, supporting and enriching play as well as making use of everyday learning opportunities are of great worth to me.

I respect the parents’ views, wishes and values. I firmly believe in communication, cooperation and building trust and confidence with the parents in order to promote the child’s healthy and safe growth, development and learning.

I embrace new challenges and encounters. One of my strengths is my very ability to get along with all kinds of people. I am at my best when I get to interact with people in various environments – both with children and adults. I am fun, energetic, strong, creative, flexible, and understanding, and at the same time organized, patient, discreet, reliable, and trustworthy. Confidentiality is my top priority. Being a true team player, I shall certainly adjust to any household and environment!

I am not yet in Germany, but I am willing to relocate from my home country Finland.
