Hello 🙂

My name is Sam Reid and I am a 25 year old musician from the US. I grew up as the youngest of 4 and I was always attentive to my own needs growing up and have had many great nannies myself. I am a native English speaker and know a little bit of German as well (A1).
When I was 14, my nephew was brought into my life and I recieved first hand experience in taking care of him and watching him when no one else was available. As I got older, many of my friends have had children and have requested me to nanny occasionally which I always gladly obliged. These experiences have shown me how important it is to be sensitive, attentive and responsible when dealing with children.
I have always enjoyed looking after kids as they are the future and I admire their curiosity, creativity and honesty. I am a firm believer that not only do we teach kids, but that us adults can learn a lot from children as well!
I have also taught some kids how to play the guitar and drums and would be more than happy to teach any child an instrument! I am always adhering to parents’ demands and adaptable to almost any situation. I would characterize myself being kind, patient, and hard working.
