I have over seven years of experience working with children aged 1–18. I spent 4 years tutoring and babysitting in England, including supporting children from refugee and migrant backgrounds through the organisation Jacari. I also worked as an English language teacher at a secondary school in Madrid through the British Council for two years, alongside providing private tutoring and nannying for children aged 3–14.
I am friendly, patient, creative and outgoing. I love helping children learn and develop through everyday conversations, reading, games, arts and crafts, and outdoor activities. I also have the knowledge and skills to support children with additional needs.
I live in Neukölln and am looking for regular or occasional babysitting opportunities, particularly on weekday afternoons and evenings, as well as weekend mornings and evenings.
I am a native English speaker, have B2-level Spanish, and have beginner-level proficiency in Hindi, Portuguese, German and French.
Other things about me: I am completing an MA in Global Studies at Humboldt University and have a deep curiosity about the world and learning from other cultures. I also lived in India and Argentina and have backpacked across South America. My hobbies include cooking, reading, hiking, doing ceramics and yoga and meditation.
I look forward to meeting your family and helping your little ones learn, play and grow!
