I am Anne, from Toronto, Canada, and I have lived in Munich for 30 years. I studied Experimental Photography and Interior Architecture in Canada, travelled for three years throughout Europe after my studies and then ended up living in Germany.
Growing up in a medical family, sports and nutrition
were essential to our daily lives. Still today, I am very active in many sports, especially long-distance running
and kayaking. I love nature and enjoy being outside.
I have two grown children; a daughter, 21 and a son, 24. Both my children have grown up in an English and German-speaking household and studied at either a German Gymnasium or the Munich International School in Starnberg.
I work as a freelance food photographer and multi-imagery photo artist, where I designed images for residential areas. I have had experience working in Schwabing at a private kindergarten, teaching art through English.
After my daughter left for University this fall, I decided to put my unique knowledge to use and see how I could offer my service to care for multi- language children and, thus, support parents /expats in Munich.
I love kids . They are funny and curious, and I especially love how they look at the world.
Through my obsession with ‘thinking outside of the box’ and creativity, I hope to bring a unique and refreshing way of approaching day-to-day activities with kids.
I have had many years experience with owning my own dog plus I grew up with 5 family dogs.
