I am a caring, creative and patient person with experience in childcare activities, creative workshops and individual support work.
Through my work as a Pottery Assistant, I led children’s pottery parties, taught pottery and guided children through painting and other creative activities. Working with groups of children helped me develop strong communication, organisation and group-management skills. I am confident leading activities, keeping children engaged, managing different personalities and maintaining a fun, positive and safe environment, even when working with larger groups. I enjoy encouraging children to try new things, express themselves creatively and feel proud of what they achieve.
I also have experience as an Activity Support Worker and private Support Worker, supporting people with disabilities and neurodivergent needs. This has strengthened my patience, adaptability and understanding of how to respond to different personalities, needs and emotions. I am comfortable providing one-to-one support, building trusting relationships and adapting activities to help each individual feel included, supported and confident.
As a Fine Art graduate, I can offer children a wide range of engaging activities, including painting, drawing, pottery, arts and crafts, imaginative play and hands-on projects. I would also be happy to enjoy outdoor adventures, games, museum visits and everyday activities that encourage curiosity and independence.
I have completed safeguarding and first-aid training and understand the importance of children’s safety, wellbeing and clear communication with parents. I am a native English speaker planning to relocate permanently to Berlin, and I am currently in the process of learning German. I would love to help children develop their English naturally through conversation and play while providing warm, reliable and creative care.
