My name is Chiara, I am 26 years old, and I have many years of experience working
with young children. I am Italian and currently learning German. I am a student
completing my Master’s degree in Linguistics. Currently i am doing an internship at a bilingual Italian-German Kita in Berlin, where I will be conducting a research project on the linguistic development of bilingual preschool children.
My professional experience with children began in Florence when I was 20, working
with a 12-month-old child for about a year. Later, in Rome, I cared for a 2-year-old
child for another year. For the past months, I have been living in Berlin, where I
look after a 1-year-old child and, occasionally, two sisters aged 5 and 10. I have
several references available and approach my work with the utmost seriousness.
In my work, I focus on understanding each child’s personality and tailoring activities
to their preferences, while ensuring a safe and calm environment. I am a highly
creative person and enjoy organizing activities such as painting, music, dancing, or
reading. Additionally, having practiced several sports (swimming, snowboarding,
climbing, volleyball), I can organize sporting activities if desired.
I am fluent in English and have a basic understanding of Spanish and French.
I currently reside in Gesundbrunnen but am open to traveling longer distances daily.
This position is of great interest to me, as it aligns with my studies and research while
allowing me to deepen my work with children in a professional setting.
