Hello! My name is Cecelia and I am a 24 year old international student from the United States earning my Master in Health Science from the Technical University of Munich. For the past two years, I was a full-time volunteer teacher in Namibia teaching Life Science to students aged 14-18 and facilitating extracurricular activities such as a science club and HIV/AIDS prevention program. I have two years of formal teaching experience, one year of nannying experience for a one-year-old boy, and I have worked at outdoor summer camps for four summers, focusing on physical activity like hiking, biking, and swimming. I love working with children because I admire their outlook and appreciate the joy, optimism, and humor they bring to my life and get fulfillment from being a role model to them as they grow and learn to cope with their emotions and their environments. In my free time I love to cook/bake, go for walks, read, travel, and spend time with my loved ones. I am a native English speaker and am looking for a family with similar values where I can help to tutor or babysit the children part-time and create a comfortable and caring environment.
