Dear Parents,
I hope this message finds you well. My name is Christabel Elenya, I’m 21 years old, and I’m based in Berlin. I am excited to offer my services as a nanny, with additional availability for occasional babysitting. If you’re interested, I’d love to arrange a meeting to ensure your confidence in me caring for your child or children. While I’m currently at an A2 level in German, I am a native English speaker.
For the past two years, I’ve been working as a full-time nanny, following several years of part-time childcare experience in my home country. My schedule is flexible, and I’m available Monday through Friday from 7 am to 10 pm, including overnight care, with weekend hours available as needed. Additionally, I’m comfortable traveling with the family if required, and I’m open to moving cities.
Having played a significant role in raising my three younger siblings while my mother worked, I’ve developed a deep understanding of children’s needs, emotions, and developmental stages. I am genuinely committed to the welfare of the children I care for, engaging them in age-appropriate activities, teaching valuable life lessons through stories, and modeling qualities such as kindness, patience, respect, and healthy communication.
A bit about me: I enjoy reading, painting, singing, and dancing, and I’m learning to play the piano (though still working on my finger placement!). I also love crocheting. After relocating to Germany, I spent time as an au pair in Munich before settling in Berlin. Since then, I’ve worked as a full-time nanny for various families, including one with lively 3-year-old triplets. I’ve received positive feedback from these families, who would be happy to share their experiences with you. While I’ve worked with multiple families simultaneously in the past, I’m now seeking a long-term position with one family. Additionally, I completed a first aid course last year and am enrolled in another course for small children this September to stay well-prepared for any emergencies.
