We are an expat family living in Berlin with a 1.5 year old toddler. Dad is portuguese, mom is slovak and together we speak in english. Our son is already visiting Kita and is therefore also familiar with German.
We’re looking for someone to help us out a few hours per week, mostly on workday afternoons, as we’re soon planning to both start full-time work again but we don’t want to leave him in the Kita for long periods of time. We’re looking for someone who is native in at least one of our family languages, as not to mix another one in 🙂
Our son is a sweet, a bit more reserved child who takes time to get used to new people – he can appear shy in the beginning. We’re looking for someone who is caring and patient and can adapt to his pace, to play with him at our apartment while we finish work or housework or to take him outside to the playground, which are plentiful nearby our flat.
