Hello, my name is Anna and I am a nanny from the UK looking for part time/full time work from January 2023 in/near Berlin!
I would describe myself as a very sociable, bubbly and enthusiastic person. I really value communication in all of my relationships to ensure healthy relationships. I love learning new things from people.
I have been a nanny for children of varying ages (1-13) for 5 years, with a mixture of evening and day care. I have experience with working with children with special needs, as I used to volunteer at Mencap, a charity that looks after children with special needs. I am currently looking after a 12 month old and 5 year old, but I am looking to move to Berlin soon and to look after new children. I am also happy to take care of pets and clean people’s houses.
I really advocate a gentle approach towards the children I look after, as I believe this enables them to grow through listening and understanding them. My outlook towards my hobbies transfers into the way I look after children. I am very keen to learn about their favourite hobbies, as well as their preferred ways of learning and playing.
I am fluent in English and am happy to involve language transfer through childcare. I am also very enthusiastic to learn other languages too.
My favourite hobby is cooking, which I spend a lot of time doing and love to share this skill with the people around me. I love spending time outdoors in nature, which I also love to encourage in children as I believe it is so important for their wellbeing. I enjoy engaging in creative activities, like jewellery making, reading, art and dancing. I also practice yoga most days, which is a big part of my life. I love meeting new people and experiencing new activities, I am very sociable and put a lot of time into my friendships.
