Hi families,
I’m Daniela, a 27 year old Afro-German nanny with over 10 years of experience based here in Berlin. I’ve mainly worked with babies and toddlers aged 0 to 3 years but am open and experienced with other ages too. My current family that I found here through facebook is moving away from Berlin sadly so Im looking to find a family from Ideally Mid-September onwards with roughly 30-40 hours per week
I’ve worked with families in Australia, Denmark, Germany, and Ghana, and have learned a lot from different cultures and parenting styles. I’m especially familiar with gentle parenting and always bring patience and warmth into my work.
The main feedback I receive is that I have a gentle, calm and bubbly energy that resonates a lot with children and that I communicate openly to make sure that we are on the same page when working together.
I speak fluent German, Twi, and English and a bit of Spanish and French.
I have great references, a clean police check, and certification in baby and child first aid.
In the long term, I plan to become a doula and later a family midwife and want to begin my doula training as soon as I have a position. At the moment, I also registered as a volunteer. I am supporting families during the postpartum period.
