We’re looking for a loving, native English-speaking babysitter for our little Kubo (3) for 21 hours per week (about 3.5 hours per day, Monday to Saturday). Ideally, Kubo would be picked up from kindergarten around 2:30 PM and spend the afternoon with you doing activities, returning to our home by 5:15 PM, where we could have dinner together if you’d like.

We’d love someone who can playfully immerse him in English, helping him become confident and comfortable communicating. Spending many hours per week is important to us, as we’ve read that around 20 hours a week is ideal for immersive and high-quality language learning. This will also prepare him for our big world adventure starting November 2026, where he’ll meet new people and explore new cultures – and have fun doing it!

Family doctor & freelance end-of-life companion, gifted cook (he prepares 2 hot meals daily 🍲), food saver, and loves outdoor activities. Privately he enjoys reading, listening to podcasts (especially about food & world topics 🌍), exercising at home, and working mostly from home.

Nadine (38)

Kubo (3)
Energetic son, bilingual (German/Chinese), loves biking 🚲, playing outside, reading, goofing around, and enjoys most foods. Has many little friends in the neighborhood.

Raya (arriving January 2026)
Care handled by Nadine during maternity leave until March, then taken over by the AuPair.
