I am a caring and warm-hearted native English speaker with experience in both childcare and English tutoring.

Growing up in a big family and helping raise my two younger siblings, I realised early on that I love kids and have a natural aptitude for working with them. I have developed this skill through my previous work as a babysitter in my home country, Australia.

Additionally, I am very passionate about children’s education and development. I currently tutor elementary/primary school students in English, and I am a qualified English as an Additional Langage (EAL) teacher with an additional qualification in teaching children.

Combining my caregiver experience and skills with my tutoring and EAL teaching qualifications, I could offer a range of care and support for your children – from picking them up and taking care of them after school/daycare to helping with their homework, developing their English skills or running structured English language lessons.

While I understand the importance of experience and qualifications, I believe that our values and visions must align to create that feeling of a ‘perfect fit’. So, a bit about me: I’m an Australian creative and professional writer who has been living in Berlin since July 2023. I have completed the A2.2 level German course and am continuing to develop my German this year. I hold an Austrian/EU passport.

I write creative fiction and dream of publishing a novel one day. I am interested in meditation and spirituality and strongly value personal development. I love spending time in nature, reading and being creative. I am a naturally gentle yet energetic person and I believe it is these traits that help me quickly develop a rapport with children and adjust to their unique personalities.

I am open to supporting the right family however suits them best – most likely through half-day shifts, encompassing care and English language support. I am also interested in occasional babysitter jobs.
