My name is Gracie, I’m 23, and I’m from Boulder, Colorado. I’m a recent graduate from the University of Utah in Environmental and Sustainability Studies with a minor in Human Biology. I am active, outgoing, empathetic, goofy, and eager to learn more about the world and different cultures. I speak English and Spanish, and am learning German.

I have vast experience in various fields that correspond with typical nanny duties. Primarily, I have been caring for children for most of my life, from babysitting neighborhood kids to helping in elementary school classrooms to four years’ experience teaching skiing to children aged 4 to 13. Aforementioned tasks require the mentor to create a safe space, and building a trusting (and silly) relationship is crucial to the development of the children. Furthermore, I was very involved with students with disabilities in my community when I was in high school, including playing on a basketball team that supported their desires to participate in sports, and creating a club to encourage other able-bodied students to be peer-mentors. Next, I worked in a hostel for a couple weeks in Costa Rica last summer; my main responsibilities included cleaning bathrooms, habitations, and common areas, cooking lunch for my colleagues on a rotating schedule, and creating a welcoming environment for our guests. Lastly, I am a very open-minded and trustworthy individual, and will be a positive influence on the lives of your children. I am respectful and obedient to the wishes of my superiors and patient with customers, guests, and children. I always enjoy laughing and playing with children, whether it be my little cousins or random kiddos I see out-and-about.
