Hello! My name is Ashna, and I\u2019m originally from Queensland, Australia \ud83c\udde6\ud83c\uddfa. I recently moved to Germany to continue my psychology studies \u2014 with a long-term goal of working for UNICEF, helping children worldwide gain access to education and safe living conditions.<\/p>\n
Although I don\u2019t have formal babysitting experience, I\u2019ve spent most of my life helping to raise my younger sister and many cousins \u2014 something that gave me a natural understanding of children\u2019s development, emotions, and needs.<\/p>\n
I previously worked within the Australian Government, including in the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) and the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), where I developed strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills. My experience working in the disability and community sectors taught me how to communicate with empathy and adapt to different personalities \u2014 qualities that are invaluable when caring for children.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m fluent in English and Kurdish, and I\u2019m currently learning German (A1). I love to bake, paint, draw, and read poetry, and I enjoy sharing these activities with children \u2014 especially when they involve creativity and learning through play. I\u2019m also highly organised, often creating colour-coded charts and routines to keep things running smoothly.<\/p>\n
My goal is to form a long-term connection with a family, offering both stability for your children and peace of mind for you.<\/p>\n
