Over the past several years, I have cared for children between the ages of 1 and 12 in a variety of settings, from my work as an Au Pair and Nanny in Canada to babysitting and tutoring roles in the United States. I thrive on building meaningful connections with the children I care for, learning about their personalities, and finding ways to make each day both fun and structured to your needs as a family. Whether it\u2019s reading stories, exploring nature, creating art, or supporting early learning through games and conversation, I always aim for children to explore their world and how they relate to it through curiosity and child-led creativity. I am originally from the United States, and a native English speaker, currently living in L\u00fcbeck while enrolled in a B1\u2013B2 German course; I hold dual citizenship in both Germany and the United States, and spent a year abroad for University in Canada. From this, I have experience introducing language and culture into everyday routines. I value open communication with families to ensure that their children\u2019s needs are met with care and consistency. In den letzten Jahren habe ich Kinder im Alter von 1 bis 12 Jahren in verschiedenen Kontexten betreut, als Au-pair und Nanny in Kanada sowie als Babysitterin und Tutorin in den USA. Es bereitet mir gro\u00dfe Freude, eine enge Beziehung zu den Kindern aufzubauen, ihre Pers\u00f6nlichkeiten kennenzulernen und den Alltag mit einer guten Balance aus Spa\u00df, Struktur und den individuellen Bed\u00fcrfnissen der Familie zu gestalten. Ob beim Vorlesen, beim Erkunden der Natur, beim Basteln oder beim spielerischen Lernen durch Gespr\u00e4che, ich m\u00f6chte Kinder dazu ermutigen, ihre Welt mit Neugier und kindlicher Kreativit\u00e4t zu entdecken. Wir leben in einer sich stetig ver\u00e4ndernden Welt, und gerade deshalb ist es heute wichtiger denn je, selbstbewusste, einf\u00fchlsame und neugierige kleine Menschen zu f\u00f6rdern, die sich und ihren F\u00e4higkeiten vertrauen.<\/p>\n
Ich komme urspr\u00fcnglich aus den Vereinigten Staaten und bin englische Muttersprachlerin. Zurzeit lebe ich in L\u00fcbeck und besuche einen Deutschkurs auf dem Niveau B1\u2013B2. Ich besitze die doppelte Staatsb\u00fcrgerschaft (Deutschland und USA) und habe ein Jahr meines Studiums in Kanada verbracht. Durch diese Erfahrungen habe ich gelernt, Sprache und Kultur spielerisch in den Alltag einzubringen. Mir ist eine offene und klare Kommunikation mit den Familien sehr wichtig, um sicherzustellen, dass die Bed\u00fcrfnisse der Kinder stets mit F\u00fcrsorge und Best\u00e4ndigkeit erf\u00fcllt werden.
