My name is Sam Reid and I am a 25 year old musician from the US. I grew up as the youngest of 4 and I was always attentive to my own needs growing up and have had many great nannies myself. I am a native English speaker and know a little bit of German as well (A1).
\nWhen I was 14, my nephew was brought into my life and I recieved first hand experience in taking care of him and watching him when no one else was available. As I got older, many of my friends have had children and have requested me to nanny occasionally which I always gladly obliged. These experiences have shown me how important it is to be sensitive, attentive and responsible when dealing with children.
\nI have always enjoyed looking after kids as they are the future and I admire their curiosity, creativity and honesty. I am a firm believer that not only do we teach kids, but that us adults can learn a lot from children as well!
\nI have also taught some kids how to play the guitar and drums and would be more than happy to teach any child an instrument! I am always adhering to parents’ demands and adaptable to almost any situation. I would characterize myself being kind, patient, and hard working.
