As a person comfortable in his interactions with children, and despite my experience being restrained only to the familial sphere (with little cousins), I feel ready and keen to offer my services as a “nanny”.
Given my long-standing academic records, I developed my pedagogical competencies. That is why, I would be able to help children with their homework (most notably with History, Geography, and French…), discuss with them more general issues, and try to respond to their pertinent interrogations (as they know how to do). Moreover, as a native of the South-west of France, I could also teach them French or practice with those who have it as a mother tongue here.
I consider myself a rather dynamic and joyful person. Thus, I could entertain the children through a diverse array of activities, linked to sports, creativity, as well as specific things such as cooking. I personally really like these occupations and would be very happy to share them. As the bright days are coming, many outside games and activities will be possible.
Like mentioned just before, I enjoyed cooking and could share my knowledge of it or simply prepare food for the children if needed. Indeed, given my previous experiences in a small familial homemade food store back in my country, I also can assume household chores, a detail that is important from my perspective.
In conclusion, I want to underline that my biggest strength when taking care of children is patience, be it for explaining something, listening, etc.
