I bring over ten years of experience working with children, primarily between the ages of 6 and 12, in an international school environment. As a teacher and Head of Year, I was responsible not only for academic development but also for the wellbeing, structure, and daily organisation of up to 120 pupils. Supporting children emotionally and academically has always been at the heart of my work.<\/p>\n
I offer a calm, structured, and reliable presence in a child\u2019s daily life. I am experienced in guiding homework, organising meaningful afternoon activities, planning outings, and creating routines that provide both stability and space for curiosity. I believe children thrive when they feel safe, heard, and encouraged to explore the world around them.<\/p>\n
Having designed a Philosophy for Children programme, I enjoy encouraging imagination, critical thinking, and open conversation. I love asking questions, reading together, discussing ideas, and helping children build confidence in expressing themselves. At the same time, I understand the importance of boundaries, consistency, and clear expectations.<\/p>\n
Growing up in six different countries as the child of a diplomat, I bring an international mindset and cultural sensitivity. I am a native speaker of English and Spanish and fluent in German, and I am comfortable in bilingual or multilingual family settings.<\/p>\n
I see childcare not simply as supervision, but as accompanying a child in their development with attentiveness, warmth, and responsibility. I value discretion, clear communication with parents, and long-term, trusting collaboration.<\/p>\n
