Hello. I’m Emma, a Scottish nanny with 13 years‘ experience looking after children of every age from newborn to 17 years through various roles such as a nanny, babysitter, private tutor, and summer school assistant. I’m also a mum of a 1 year old boy. As an expat mum myself, I understand the difficulties of being a mom abroad and the importance of finding the right person to care for your little one. I specialise in teaching English as a foreign language to children through play; I believe that they learn best when they are having fun. As a childcare worker, I am responsible, organised, and attentive. As a teacher, I am resourceful and creative. All these skills allow me to create a positive learning environment in which children feel happy and safe. I am adaptable and can do anything with your children from running around at the playground to baking cakes to having imaginary unicorn tea parties. I can also change diapers and help with naptime and mealtime. I am happy to help with light household chores such as cooking, tidying up toys, and laundry.
