I am certified in TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) and have years of experience working with children. During my teenage years in the United States, I worked as a babysitter for about 5 years. I then moved from the United States to Germany in late 2020, where I worked as an Au Pair for 9 months. Following my time as an Au Pair, I began working as an assistant English teacher in a bilingual kindergarten. I worked with 3 to 6-year-old children during my first school year. The following school year, I switched groups and began teaching 6-month-old to 3-year-old children. I love working in a kindergarten, but I miss having the one-on-one contact and personalization you get with working with families individually. I am looking for a family who preferably has younger children, as I especially love teaching and playing with the little ones. I love making sensory bins for small children and doing lots of crafts with them! Families with dogs are fine with me, but sadly, I am allergic to cats, so I cannot work for a family with a cat. I also would like a family who fully supports me speaking English with their children, as teaching English naturally through play is very important to me.
