My name is Talia, I am 27 years old, and I am from a small town in the south of Argentina.
I enjoy doing arts and crafts, I am always looking for a new art project, either for myself or to do with kids.
I LOVE to cook. I have been cooking since I was 14.
Regarding my childcare experience, I have always been taking care of children during my free time when I was a teenager. Usually during summer and weekends.
Currently, I am an au pair in Germany. I’m taking care of a 1.5 years old boy and a 3 years old girl. The tasks I usually perform are preparing breakfast, lunch, doing laundry, cleaning, take them to the kindergarten, organizing toys and books. During the afternoons we usually go to the park or play at home, read, do crafts.
I also spent 2 years and six months living in the United States as an au pair. I took care of a 4-year-old girl. I arrived there in 2018 when she was almost 2 years old.
Taking care of her required preparing breakfast, snacks, and lunch, doing laundry, cleaning after her, take her to school, organizing toys and books. Some of the activities that we used to do were spend time in the park, having play dates, playing pretending, painting, drawing, doing arts and crafts, riding our bikes.
She had a previous au pair who also spoke to her only in Spanish, so I continue to help her improve in the language using games and only talking in Spanish.
I am punctual and responsible about my job. I am calm and respectful.
My au pair year ends in mid-September, and I am in the process of changing my visa.
