I am a bilingual caregiver fluent in both English and Spanish, with extensive experience supporting children across a wide range of ages. I began working with children in high school through volunteer roles at local primary education centers serving low-income families, where I primarily cared for children ages 1–4. In this role, I supported early childhood development and helped children transition from Spanish to English through hands-on, play-based learning. My responsibilities included arts and crafts, early math and language activities, community walks to the park, serving meals, and assisting with nap time—always with an emphasis on creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.

In college, I continued my work with children at an elementary school, focusing on students from kindergarten through 5th grade (ages 5–10). I provided homework help and tutoring in reading, writing, math, and science, and worked closely with Spanish-speaking students as they adjusted to learning in an English-speaking classroom. I also designed and led after-school activities that combined learning and fun, such as math games, academic challenges, and structured playground activities.

In addition to childcare and academic support, I offer a variety of skills that help create a well-rounded and enriching environment. I love to cook and bake and am happy to prepare nutritious meals and snacks for children, as cooking is a daily part of my routine. I also studied music for five years and can support children who are learning an instrument through practice help, encouragement, and basic instruction. I enjoy staying active through running, yoga, and swimming, and would love to engage children in age-appropriate physical activities that promote movement, coordination, and healthy habits. I enjoy planning creative, educational, and active experiences that keep children engaged while supporting their growth and interests.
